Week 7
Macro Photography
Below are sample shots of my miniature scale model of a UH-60 Blackhawk. The photoshoot was composed with an led bulb used in my lamp and a hand held Luxeon Rebel 50 Chip LED Torch to explore the different kind of results that was achieved by mixing two different lights.
58mm | 1/160 | f5.6 | ISO 3200 (Indoor)
50mm | 1/160 | f5.6 | ISO 800 (Indoor)
50mm | 1/160 | f5.6 | ISO 1600 (Indoor)
Product Photography
The Photos below were my products and I've explored that through minimising the amount of lighting I had I was able to reduce unnecessary color variations from different light temperatures. Therefore I was able to maintain and produce consistent results with my product photoshoots with single lighting.
50mm | 1/160 | f5.6 | ISO 320 (Indoor)
50mm | 1/160 | f5.6 | ISO 320 (Indoor)
50mm | 1/160 | f5.6 | ISO 250 (Indoor)
50mm | 1/160 | f5.6 | ISO 200 (Indoor)
50mm | 1/160 | f5.6 | ISO 400 (Indoor)
50mm | 1/160 | f5.6 | ISO 400 (Indoor)
50mm | 1/160 | f5.6 | ISO 400 (Indoor)
50mm | 1/160 | f5.6 | ISO 320 (Indoor)
The overall results were interesting. The different lighting conditions produced some fine detailed shots in product photography, whilst the model Blackhawk produced some inconsistencies with the white balance. The shots of the Japanese Sashimi Knife proved to be one of my favourite compositions as it really was able to show the definitions of the bokeh effect. The fishing float was also interesting although it was relatively simple. The round curvatures of the fishing float absorbed the lighting most likely due to the coating however the curves also played a role in softening the direct lighting from the LED bulb from the lamp I was using.
